Florida adds humidity, which compacts lint, and many Gulf Coast homes route a long vent from an interior laundry closet to the roof or a side wall, so buildup comes faster than it would on a short run through a wall.
How long does a dryer vent cleaning take?
Most are finished in under an hour. A long run to the roof or a heavily compacted vent can take one to three hours. Air duct cleaning takes one to three hours depending on the size of the system, and a duct replacement takes a full day or more.
