Which pictures are the business’s own, which are licensed, and who to credit.

Most of what you see on this website was filmed and photographed by Ecovent on real jobs in Pinellas and Pasco counties. The few remaining stock photographs are openly licensed and credited below, as their licenses ask.

The job photos and video

The technician in the company shirt, the lint pulled out at the wall connection, the inside of the ducts before and after the brush, and the two short clips on the dryer vent and air duct pages were all taken by Ecovent Dryer Duct Solutions at customer homes, with the customers’ permission and no addresses shown. They are not stock and they are not staged: the cable, the brush head and the lint are exactly what a cleaning looks like. The clips are muted, loop on their own and stop for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion, who see a still frame instead.

Licensed photographs still in use

Where the business has no picture of its own yet, a photograph from Wikimedia Commons stands in. Each one was cropped and resized for the page it sits on and not otherwise altered. These are the ones on the site today:

CC BY and CC BY-SA licenses require this attribution; public-domain and CC0 images do not, and are listed anyway so the whole picture policy lives on one page. As the business replaces a stock photograph with one of its own, its line leaves this list.

Using these pictures

The Ecovent logo, the job photos and video, and all written content are the property of Ecovent Dryer Duct Solutions and may not be reused without permission. The licensed photographs may be reused under the terms of their own licenses, linked above, with the same attribution.
